The Honorable Kevin M. Seibert
Presiding Judge
On July 16, 2015, Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr., appointed Judge Kevin M. Seibert to the Superior Court of Tuolumne County.
During his time as a judge, he has been assigned to both civil and criminal trial calendars and has served as the Assistant Presiding Judge and Presiding Judge. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Seibert had 30 years of civil litigation experience, focused primarily on commercial matters. He was a partner in the law firm of Downey Brand, LLP from 2000 – 2015 and was a partner at the Stockton law firm of Steinheimer, Riggio, Haydel & Mordaunt from 1990 – 2000 He was elected an Associate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2014.
He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, California, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brigham Young University.
Judge Seibert is a California native. He has lived in Tuolumne County since 1999.
