The court’s self-help center provides assistance in the areas of family law and civil matters. These services are available to all self-represented parties, regardless of income. The self-help center staff can provide you with information on your legal rights and obligations; they cannot provide you with legal advice. You should contact a private attorney if you want personalized advice or strategy, to have a confidential conversation, or to be represented by an attorney in court. The self-help center is located on the first floor of the Justice Center Courthouse located at 12855 Justice Center Drive in Sonora. NEW HOURS OF OPERATION Effective December 2, the self-help office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The self-help center is closed for one hour lunch until 1:00 PM. The center reopens at 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. excluding holidays. The phone number is (209) 533-6565.
